Valentine’s Day is coming to Pokémon GO! The Valentine’s Day Event lets players celebrate with their favorite Pokémon and partners. It’s a fun way to enjoy the game with someone special, focusing on shared adventures and Pokémon hunts.

Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2026 Event Date & Time
The Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day event in 2026 will take place from February 10th at 10 AM to February 15th at 8 PM, using your local time.
Players can participate in various activities and find more Pokemon appearing in the game, including Nidoran, Cherubi, Audino, and Chansey. Keep an eye out for rarer Pokemon like Luvdisc and Feebas, too!
Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2026 Event Bonuses & Encounters
During the Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day event, all players will receive these benefits:
- 2× XP for catching Pokemon.
- 2× Stardust from opening Gifts.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Nidoran♀ and Shiny Nidoran♂.
- Increased chance to hatch Shiny Nidoran♀, Shiny Nidoran♂, and Shiny Cherubi.
- Featured Attack: Evolve Kirlia (Ralts’s Evolution) during the event to get a Gardevoir or Gallade that knows the Charged Attack Synchronoise. Gardevoir and Gallade encountered after three-star raids will know the Charged Attack Synchronoise.
During this event, you’ll have a chance to battle and catch special costumed Pokémon in 3-Star Raids! Look out for Crown Nidoqueen and Crown Nidoking, along with Gardevoir and Gallade. If you haven’t already, this is a great opportunity to add these fully evolved Pokémon to your team.
How To Get Furfrou Heart Trim For Free in Pokemon GO
During the event, you can give your Furfrou a special Heart Trim at no cost! Simply find your Furfrou in your Pokémon Storage, view its summary, and select the “Change Form” button. This will open a menu where you can choose the Heart Trim.
During the event, you can get the Heart Trim for Furfrou for free. All other trims will still cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust each.
Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day 2026 Field Research & Special Research
Special Field Research will be available in Pokémon GO during the Valentine’s Day 2026 event. Completing tasks – such as catching Pokémon or throwing Curveballs – will give you the chance to encounter special rewards. Here’s a look at all the available Field Research tasks and their rewards.
