The latest Pokemon GO event, Enchanted Hollow, adds two new Pokemon to the game. Players can now find and catch Tarountula, a Bug-type Pokemon that looks like a string ball, and its evolved form, Spidops, known as the Trap Pokemon.
Tarountula can be found appearing in the wild, particularly if you use a Mossy Lure Module. However, Spidops cannot be found in the wild. To evolve Tarountula into Spidops, you’ll need to give it 25 Candy.

How to Complete ‘Fantastical Forest’ Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO

The first challenge in the new collection is called “Fantastical Forest” in Pokemon GO. To complete it, players need to catch a Petilil, Shelmet, Paras, and Skwovet. Luckily, all four of these Pokemon will appear more often in the wild during the event, and they all have a chance of being shiny!
Okay, good news! This challenge doesn’t need me to evolve anything, which is a relief. Just a heads-up, if you’re doing Field Research tasks where you need to catch 10 or 15 Pokémon, you might run into Petilil, Shelmet, or Paras as rewards – so keep an eye out for them!
Using a Mossy Lure on a PokeStop will increase your chances of encountering Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, Petilil, Karrablast, Shelmet, and Tarountula.

The next challenge in Pokémon GO, called “Whimsical Woods,” asks players to catch Cottonee, Karrablast, Morelull, and Stantler. Just like the last event, you’ll have a better chance of finding these Pokémon while the challenge is active.
You can also earn Cottonee and Karrablast by finishing the ‘Catch 10 Pokemon’ Field Research task. If you complete the ‘Catch 15 Pokemon’ task, you might get a Stantler as a reward.
Rewards for Completing Whimsical Woods and Fantastical Forest Collection Challenges in Pokemon GO
Completing either of the Enchanted Hollow collection challenges will reward you with 3000 XP and a battle against Tarountula. This gives you additional opportunities to earn Tarountula Candy, helping you evolve your creature.
