The pink/purple rectangles that have been appearing at the end of Routes have left many trainers baffled, abandoning them without a second thought due to their initial assumption that they were just Team Go Rocket Grunt bugs. But little did we know, these rectangles could lead us to an elusive Zygarde Cell, a crucial piece in our quest for completing the legendary Zygarde.
At the conclusion of Routes in Pokemon Go, a rectangle colored pink or purple suddenly emerges, leaving players puzzled by this unexplained anomaly. Yet, their astonishment turns to excitement upon discovering a guaranteed Zygarde Cell within, upon interacting with it.
Trainers go the extra mile, leaving no shortcuts in completing challenging routes, determined to gather 251 of these cells for the legendary Zygarde. Unfamiliar with these square-shaped anomalies, some trainers gave up, inadvertently missing an opportunity for a cell collection.
Instead, Reddit user ‘stayhungry1’ discovered an additional Zygarde Cell during their interaction with it on Route–one that had previously gone unnoticed.

It was shocking to discover that multiple fans encountered the same issue on Routes and, believing it to be a glitch from Team Go Rocket Grunts, left empty-handed without obtaining any cells.
Based on my extensive experience as a dedicated gamer and avid Pokémon player, I can’t help but feel frustrated when it comes to encountering bugs in games. The recent revelation that even the NPC Mateo, who exchanges gifts with trainers at the end of Routes, has been found to have issues, is a prime example.
