The new trailer for Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC has finally revealed when it will be released, along with details about the new Mega Evolutions coming to the game. Considering Pokemon Legends: Z-A has only been available for three weeks and currently lacks extensive post-game content, it’s understandable that the DLC is being fully revealed so quickly, especially since it was announced before the main game even launched.
As leaks suggested, the Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC is set to introduce several new Mega Evolutions and expand the game’s story. While not everything has been shown yet, fans have recently gotten a preview of the revamped Lumiose City and its unique features. In addition to the previously announced Mega Raichu, two more Mega Evolutions have been revealed and will be available soon.

Leaks had previously revealed that Heatran, Darkrai, and Zeraora would receive Mega Evolutions. Data found in the game’s files also hinted at Mega Evolutions for Chimecho and Baxcalibur, along with 14 other Pokémon. Now that the trailer has been released, fans can see the new Mega Evolutions for both Chimecho and Baxcalibur, but unfortunately, there’s a catch regarding Baxcalibur.
The Mega Stone needed to evolve Baxcalibur will only be available as a reward for highly ranked players in Season 4 of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It’s similar to how Greninjite, Delphoxite, and Chesnaughtite were offered in previous seasons. To earn it, players will need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription or participate with a free trial if one is available, as online battles are required to claim the reward.
