Nintendo has announced the start of Season 2 for Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Ranked Battles on November 5th. Players can battle each other in teams of four, earning points to climb the ranks. Reaching Rank K will reward players with a Delphoxite, which allows Delphox to Mega Evolve. Each rank will offer rewards, with higher ranks providing better prizes.
Players of Pokemon Legends: Z-A have until November 5th to compete in the first season of Ranked Battles. This is your chance to earn Greninjite, which is needed to Mega Evolve Greninja. While it might come back in a future season like other rewards in Pokemon games, it’s not certain.
So, if I want to jump into Ranked Battles in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, it’s pretty straightforward. I just launch the game, hit the X button, and choose ‘Link Play’ then ‘Ranked Battles.’ We all start at Rank Z, and I can climb the ranks by winning battles and doing well in combat. They’re letting us use all the Pokemon from the Lumiose Pokedex – that’s numbers 001 through 229 – and no matter what level my Pokemon are normally, they’ll automatically be leveled up to 50 for the battles.
We expect the competitive Ranked Battles to remain a hit as players unlock new Mega Evolutions and rewards. While Pokemon Legends: Z-A received good reviews, some critics pointed out its small game world. Adding multiplayer should help keep the game engaging for a long time.
