Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Lower Requirements For Exclusive Mega Evolutions in Ranked

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is making it easier to unlock special Mega Evolutions in Ranked Battles for Season 2 by lowering the requirements for earning rewards.

The newest Pokémon game has faced criticism for making three special evolutions, including Mega Greninja, only available to players who achieve a certain rank in competitive battles during the first season. Players need to reach at least K rank to unlock these evolutions.

But things are changing for Season 2, starting next week. It will be much easier to earn rewards this time around.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Lowers Ranked Reward Requirements

The Pokémon Company briefly shared details on how to obtain Delphoxite and unlock Mega Delphox in a now-deleted post, but screenshots and information are still available on sites like Reddit.

At first, the announcement said players needed to reach Rank K to unlock the item. However, a later update made it much easier, lowering the requirement to Rank S – eight levels lower than originally planned.

Players who didn’t get Greninite and Mega Greninja during the first season will now have a second chance to earn the item needed to Mega Evolve Greninja. Reaching Rank Y is necessary to claim it.

Season 2 will begin on November 5th at 10 PM Pacific Time and run for 20 days, concluding on November 25th.

The Pokémon Company removed some posts, leading people to wonder if they’ll make further adjustments and why the originals were taken down. It appears the information was released before it was intended to be.
