The special bonuses available exclusively for pre-ordering Pokemon Legends: Z-A at Walmart and Best Buy have been unveiled. Keep in mind that these early-bird offers might sell out well before the end of the pre-order period for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, as they often do.
Pre-ordering the digital edition of “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” became possible starting from June 5. But it wasn’t until after the most recent Pokemon Presents event on July 22 that physical pre-orders could be made.
In keeping with custom, large U.S. retailers have started offering unique pre-order bonuses for the upcoming Pokemon game. Walmart’s bonus comes as a secret pin, and each customer receives one badge showcasing one of the starters from Pokemon Legends: Z-A: Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile. The distribution of these pins is random, explaining their “mystery” label.
Pokemon Z–A Exclusive U.S. Retailer Pre-Order Bonuses
- Best Buy: Gamer Mat
- Walmart: Mystery Pin
When you pre-order Pokemon Legends: Z-A at Best Buy, you’ll receive a special gamer mat as a bonus. This mat showcases Lumiose City from the game, with the starting Pokémon displayed on one side and two important characters, 10% Forme Zygarde and Eternal Flower Floette, on the other. Both these characters are significant in the upcoming title.
Usually, neither Walmart nor Best Buy guarantee that pre-order bonuses for Pokemon Legends: Z-A will be available throughout the entire pre-order period. Instead, these offers are officially labeled “while supplies last.” Historically, large U.S. retailers such as these have seldom run out of pre-order bonus stock for Pokémon games. If there is any remaining merchandise after the game’s release, it’s possible that they may continue to distribute it to customers until all items are sold out.
Besides exclusive pre-order incentives tied to individual retailers, those who pre-purchase the physical copy of the upcoming title, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, will also receive an early adopter bonus. This bonus is a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite Stone. For digital pre-orders, there’s an additional reward of 100 Poke Balls. As with previous games in the series, these bonus items are anticipated to be delivered via the game’s internal gift system. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set for release on October 16. The standard Switch version is priced at $59.99, while the Switch 2 edition costs an additional $10. The special bundle of Pokemon Legends Z-A for Switch 2 includes a code for both the original Switch game and the current-gen console upgrade, allowing play on either Nintendo’s handheld or home console devices.
