As a fan, I can’t help but imagine how amazing it would be to have a unique location in “Legends: Z-A” that truly encapsulates the Ghostly essence of Kalos Region’s creatures like Aegislash, Trevenant, and Gourgeist. This spooky haven could perfectly highlight the chilling impact these spectral beings bring to the game.
How Underground Catacombs Could Factor into Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Lumiose City
In the video game Pokemon X and Y, Lumiose City did not originally contain catacombs like those found in Paris. However, incorporating such a location in Pokemon Legends: Z-A could help resolve some lingering storylines within the series. The actual Paris Catacombs date back to 13th-century mines, so it would be fitting for the Pokemon world’s catacombs to share a similar history. This could link the era when AZ ruled as King of Kalos with the ancient underground location. Since Pokemon Legends: Z-A aims to delve into the unanswered questions about AZ and his use of the Ultimate Weapon, revealing an old, hidden underground area that was inaccessible in earlier games would make sense as a means of exploration.
It’s plausible that adventurers may stumble upon an access point to these catacombs hidden within the ruins of Lysandre Labs, located beneath Lysandre Cafe, following Team Flare’s dissolution. Given that Team Flare’s headquarters were once situated below part of Lumiose City, it could be possible that the development of this facility might have accidentally exposed an old network of tunnels and burial sites dedicated to warriors who perished during Kalos Region’s significant war when AZ deployed the Ultimate Weapon. Such a location, reminiscent of Lavender Town’s eeriness, would likely surpass it in terms of unsettling atmosphere, making it a chilling addition to the lore of the Pokemon franchise.
