The downside of certain Pokémons getting Megas is that they could suffer from a pattern seen in the series, known as the Mega Evolution curse, where they miss out on a chance for a new regional evolution in a future game. Nevertheless, there are four leaked Mega Evolutions for Pokemon Legends: Z-A that might shatter this trend, although not in the usual manner.

Monsters such as Skarmory and Drampa, which have been frequently discussed as potential pre-evolutions due to their origins in Generation 2 when baby Pokémon were introduced, might not receive these pre-evolutions in the upcoming game “Pokemon Legends: Z-A,” given whispers that it won’t introduce any new creatures beyond Mega forms.
