These medals, known as Emblems, can be showcased on your profile to demonstrate your proficiency in the game. If you’re eager to learn more about this PvP event, including its objectives, rewards, and details, we have a comprehensive guide for you! Let me introduce you to the essential information about the ‘Pokémon Pocket‘ Mythical Island Event.

The Mythical Island Emblem Contest is a PvP challenge lasting 22 days. Players strive to secure between 5 and 45 victories to obtain one of three themed badges: bronze, silver, or gold. Best Decks for the Mythical Island Emblem Event

Since the Emblem Event in December began not long after the release of the Mythical Island expansion, it’s reasonable to expect that the game’s meta (short for metagame) won’t undergo significant changes. The introduction of new cards isn’t causing a massive transformation in the current meta, and PvP battles are still mainly being won by decks featuring Pikachu ex and Mewtwo ex. Consequently, it’s wise to continue using one of these strategies if you already have them.

Recently, there’s been an increase in the use of Gayadros ex decks. This is mainly because of its excellent compatibility with Vaporeon and Misty. If you’re searching for a distinctive strategy, think about incorporating this deck into your plans for the Mythical Island Event. To perfect it, add Lapras and Supporter cards such as Leaf, Sabrina, and Giovanni to your lineup.

Tips for the Mythical Island Emblem Event

If you want to make the most of this event, keep these notes in mind:

  • Calculate your deck’s average win rate. The top three META decks in Pokemon Pocket have an average win rate of around 50%, meaning you’ll likely need to play 90 matches to achieve 45 wins. This translates to about four matches per day for the entire 22-day event.
  • You can’t play event matches once you reach 45 wins. If you’re aiming for the final Shinedust mission (50 wins), you’ll need to play regular PvP matches after earning the Gold Emblem, as the game won’t allow you to queue for event matches after completing it.
  • Take advantage of Mew ex in your event decks. Mew ex is one of the best counters against META cards like Mewtwo ex. If it fits in your lineup, make use of its colorless mirroring ability, Genome Hacking.
