Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Codes Unlock Exclusive Rotom Phone Cases

Summary

  • Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can claim free Rotom Phone covers using unique codes.
  • No expiration date was given for the version-exclusive Rotom Phone cases codes in Scarlet and Violet.

On February 27, during the Pokemon Presents broadcast, The Pokemon Company announced that players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can obtain free, version-specific Rotom Phone covers using a code. Furthermore, they revealed details about upcoming Seven-Star Tera Raid battles featuring the Paldean starters and “Pseudo-Legendary” creatures in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

On the 29th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, a special episode titled Pokemon Presents was hosted. This event showcased fresh content for ongoing games such as Pokemon TCG Pocket, Pokemon Unite, and Pokemon Masters EX. The main attraction of Pokemon Presents was an extended sneak peek at Pokemon Legends: Z-A, scheduled to be released towards the end of 2025. In this upcoming game, players will discover three unanticipated starter Pokemon – Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile – who they’ll choose from while exploring Lumiose City. Additionally, Mega Evolution is making a comeback in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, leaving us to speculate if Meganium, Emboar, and Feraligatr will receive Mega transformations.

Players of the game Pokemon Scarlet can input the code SB00KC0VER to acquire the Scarlet Case for their Rotom Phone, while trainers in Pokemon Violet will use the code VB00KC0VER to secure the Violet Case. To get these Rotom Phone case codes, players must connect to the internet and choose Mystery Gift from the Poke Portal menu using their Nintendo Account. Each code can only be redeemed once per save file, and it replaces the letters O, I, and Z with 0. The Pokemon Company did not specify an expiration date for these version-exclusive Rotom Phone cases, allowing Pokemon trainers ample time to claim them.

The first battle features Meowscarada the Unsurpassed, a Pokemon with the Tera-Grass type and Protean Ability. This encounter lasts until March 6. Following this, Skeledirge and Quaquaval will appear in additional Seven-Star Tera Raids throughout March. After the focus on Paldean Starter Pokemon, trainers in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will encounter Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon in Seven-Star Tera Raids. These battles will challenge players against tough opponents such as Tyranitar, Metagross, and Dragapult.

I can hardly contain my excitement! It’s been announced that a Mass Outbreak event is happening from February 28 to March 20, featuring Pokémon in red, green, and blue colors. This is a nod to the original Pokémon generation, and we’ll get to see some classic critters like Charcadet, Poliwag, and Scyther during this time!
