Strategy Guide For Malamar, Gallade, and Blissey

Here’s a winning plan for the Mighty Hydreigon Tera Raid Battle, using the recommended Pokémon. If you follow these tips, you should be able to easily defeat this challenging 7-Star Raid.

  • Malamar -Using the following EV Spread: 252 HP/252 Sp. Def/Sp. Atk 4 – Use ‘Skill Swap’ to turn Hydreigon’s Levitate into Contrary, then use Calm Mind to raise Malamar’s Sp Atk, then use Stored Power to blast Hydreigon. If Hydreigon causes too much damage to Malamar, use Rest to recover. Cheer while Malamar sleeps to recover or boost. Terastalize to break shield and repeat the strategy until it’s defeated.
  • Gallade – Using the following EV Spread: 252 Atk/252 Sp. Def/HP 4 – Use Light Screen to protect the team from Hydreigon’s attacks, then Swords Dance to boost Gallade’s Psycho Cut, use Life Dew to recover the party in the break round. Repeat Swords Dance and Psycho Cut, terastalize to break and defeat Hydreigon.
  • Blissey – Using the following EV Spread: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Sp. Def/Speed 4 – Use Light Screen in the first round, follow up with 6x Calm Mind, then Stored Power to force break round. Use Soft Boiled to recover, follow up with strategy, Terastalize, and finish with Stored Power.

Before trying these strategies, make sure your Pokémon know all the necessary moves. Check where to find any TMs they might be missing.
