As a dedicated Pokémon enthusiast, I’ve taken it upon myself to give Solrock and Lunatone a delightful makeover, transforming their designs into delectable treats. The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with fans proposing names, writing engaging Pokedex entries, and showering praise on the artwork.
Discussing alternative forms or modified evolutions of Pokémon is a popular theme among fan art, as enthusiasts continually devise imaginative revisions for familiar pocket creatures. Though everyone anxiously anticipates the next reveal by the official developer, artists consistently produce and distribute fresh ideas throughout the year.
A fan artist known as Candy-Hyena, who loves transforming Pokemon into sweet treats, recently posted new fan art featuring Lunatone and Solrock. These Pokemon still resemble their original forms but appear as if they’ve been baked by a skilled confectioner. Solrock has been turned into a chocolate cake pop, adorned with sprinkles, icing, and a birthday candle atop its head, giving it an appealing look. Lunatone, on the other hand, now looks like a chocolate chip cookie, complete with the characteristic crescent moon shape, achieved by taking a bite out of it. Instead of the usual pock-like irregularities found on normal Lunatones, this one is studded with chocolate chips. The artist has presented these two Pokemon designs together and is seeking suggestions for their names.
Pokemon Fans Love Yummy Redesigns
With close to 2000 upvotes at the time of posting, it’s understandable that the community has been actively showering the fan artist with admiration and creative ideas. Currently, the top-rated names for the Pokemon are Solpop and Lunadough, derived from cake pops and cookie dough. Other popular suggestions include Poprock and Cakerock for Solrock, and Lunascone, Lunacookie, or Lunachip for Lunatone. Many fans simply praised the artwork and inquired about what the shiny versions of the Solrock and Lunatone variants might look like.
Although these design concepts aren’t part of an officially announced game yet, a player suggested they could harmoniously blend with a future release. Given that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is heading back to a region similar to France in the Pokemon universe, it seems plausible for the game to feature bakery-style redesigns of Pokémon. However, since details about the game are scarce beyond its title and location, it’s uncertain whether the game will incorporate themed Pokémon like these.
