The Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket commenced a fresh drop event on July 2, with the primary reward being an adorable Alcremie card. These events are now routine in the Pokemon TCG Pocket calendar, providing players an opportunity to expand their collection of promo cards with new additions.
In the eighth generation of Pokemon, a unique creature named Alcremie is introduced. Unlike most Pokemon, Alcremie evolves from Milcery under peculiar circumstances: the player must spin and pose with Milcery while holding a Sweet, or make it dizzy. Once this is done, Milcery transforms into Alcremie and can assume one of nine distinct forms. One well-known instance of this Pokemon in the Pokemon anime is Murdock’s Ruby Swirl Alcremie, a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers. Additionally, Alcremie has the ability to Gigantamax, and since it has nine variants, it can achieve nine different Gigantamax forms. Now, the Pokemon TCG Pocket is highlighting the Cream Pokemon in its latest event.
The Pokemon TCG Pocket Drop Event began on July 2nd and will conclude on the 12th. The main prize for this event is an Alcremie alt rare card, which has approximately a 1 in 8 chance of appearing when opening a promotional pack. Alongside the coveted Alcremie, players can also obtain other promo cards such as the Jolteon rare (approximately a 1 in 6 chance), and common Dragonair, Audino, and Vanillite cards (all with roughly a 1 in 4 chance). In addition to these prizes, Wonder and Event Hourglasses, shop tickets, and Stardust will be awarded upon completion of various missions, just like in other drop events.
New Pokemon TCG Pocket Event Brings Adorable Alcremie Card as Reward
- Date: Wednesday, July 2, to Saturday, July 12
- New cards: Alcremie alt rare, Jolteon rare, Audino, Vanillite, and Dragonair common
1. Alcremie’s promotional card showcases an enchanting drawing by Tika Matsumo, depicting the creature amidst other treats like sweets and beverages, and it’s only available during events.
2. Jolteon’s card boasts artwork by Mizue and serves as an alternative design compared to the one presented in the latest Eevee Grove miniset.
3. Dragonair and Audino’s cards display illustrations from Shinya Komatsu and MAHOU, respectively, and differ not only in appearance but also abilities when compared to their existing counterparts in the game.
4. The Vanillite card is designed by OOYAMA, just like its regular variant, but it retains the same ability as its standard version.
As a Pokémon TCG Pocket gamer, I’m excited about the double dose of fun! Alongside the Alcremie Drop event, we’ve got the Sneak Peek event going on. This is something that pops up for us players regularly. The latest Sneak Peek campaign kicked off on June 30 and runs until July 7. During this period, when I make a Wonder Pick in Pokémon TCG Pocket, I get to sneak a peek at a card beforehand!
