The Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket commenced a drop event on May 15, featuring the Alolan Ninetales card as the primary prize. Apart from this stunningly illustrated card, players of the Pokémon TCG Pocket have the opportunity to collect additional promotional cards.
Ninetales is a Pokemon that’s been a recurring character in the Kanto series, making an appearance in every generation of games. This Fire-type Pokemon evolves from Vulpix and captivates with its nine tails and folklore connected to the spirit realm. In the game releases of Pokemon Sun and Moon, Game Freak introduced regional variations for the first time, including Alolan Ninetales. This version sports a bluish coat, enhancing its already graceful appearance. As part of the latest event, players of the Pokemon TCG Pocket game can now collect this classic fox character.
Starting from May 15th, I’ve jumped right into a thrilling new drop event for Pokemon TCG Pocket! The main prize up for grabs is an eye-catching full art card of the enchanting Alolan Ninetales. This event runs until Sunday, May 25th. During these exciting ten days, I’ll be battling solo against decks themed around Alolan Ninetales (for beginners), Alolan Sandslash (for intermediate players), and a challenging combination of Alolan Ninetales and Crabominable EX (for advanced and expert players). Victory in these battles will reward me with a collection of new, exclusive promotional cards for Pokemon TCG Pocket. Alongside the stunning Alolan Ninetales full art card, I’ll also receive Alolan Exeggutor, Crabrawler, Alolan Grimer, and Toucannon cards. Let the battles begin!
New Pokemon TCG Pocket Event Features Alolan Ninetales Stunning Card as a Reward

- New cards: Alolan Ninetales, Alolan Exeggutor, Crabrawler, Alolan Grimer, and Toucannon.
The Alolan Ninetales promotional card showcases an impressive artwork by Tono, marking its debut in the game. Meanwhile, Alolan Exeggutor and Crabrawler sport illustrations by Satoshi Shirai and Miki Tanaka, respectively, deviating from their original versions. Fresh additions to the game, the Alolan Grimer and Toucannon cards come with artwork by Naoki Saito and Sekio. Additionally, players can accumulate shop tickets, XP, Shinedust, and Wonder Hourglasses – a crucial item used for making more Wonder Picks in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
Alongside the fresh solo battle event, players also have the opportunity to obtain promotional cards featuring Cosmog and Lycanroc until May 19th at the Wonder Pick event. Besides these cards, there are other rewards available. Players can exchange event tickets for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket items like a Solgaleo coin, playmat, and Lillie icon. From now until March 29th, fans can commemorate half a year of Pokemon TCG Pocket by participating in a special event with unique missions, and they’ll receive a free Rayquaza ex full art card as the primary reward.
