In the Pokemon TCG Pocket game, there are just three distinct ways to acquire cards since its launch, including the initial Genetix Apex set. You can get cards by opening booster packs, creating cards, or completing Wonder Picks. However, the ability to trade cards with other players will not be available until a future update.
With Wonder Pick, you only get a 20% chance of acquiring a specific card from other players’ booster pack pulls, making it less dependable for card gathering. But, by utilizing all your Wonder Stamina daily, you can collect additional cards weekly.
To create cards, you need something called ‘Pack Points’, and these points can solely be acquired by opening booster packs initially. Consequently, the most effective method to amass cards is to open as many booster packs as possible in a day, because this approach not only increases your card collection with each opened pack, but also allows you to accumulate Pack Points for crafting particular cards to finish your collection or construct a deck more efficiently.
Initially, each player gets to pick and open two booster packs daily. But, those who have the Premium Pass can open an extra pack, plus they get more quests and rewards. So, having a Premium Pass enhances your chances of acquiring cards more frequently by offering additional opportunities.
Once you’ve claimed your daily free booster packs, you can open additional ones using Pack Hourglasses or PokéGold. You can acquire Pack Hourglasses by finishing missions or buying them with Shop tickets from the store, which can be earned by completing event missions and step-up battles.
