Pokemon TCG Pocket is Reportedly Adding Ranked Battles Very Soon

According to a new leak, Pokemon TCG Pocket will feature a new Ranked Battles mode in March.

News about the upcoming Ranked Battles mode in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket edition originates from a well-known leaker, Pyoro (via CentroLeaks). It’s expected to launch in March 2025, but additional details are currently scarce. Further information about this new Ranked Battles mode and updates on other Pokémon games may be revealed during the Pokémon Presents event scheduled for tomorrow, February 27.

If the Pokemon TCG Pocket version introduces a Ranked Battles mode, it would be its third battle feature, following Versus and Solo. The developers might incorporate a ranking system similar to other competitive online games, offering a progression tree of rewards. Simultaneously, they may need to adjust the game mechanics for balanced competition. Nevertheless, these ideas are mere speculations, and we’ll have to wait for an official announcement to confirm any changes.

Today, a leak from CentroLeaks emerged showcasing details about the forthcoming booster pack called Triumphant Light. This upcoming pack is highlighted by an Arceus Ex card and is expected to hit stores later this week. For more information on this exciting release, click here.
