This information was first shared by another Twitter user, Pyoro (eb576dcfe), who suggests that, unlike some players might have anticipated, exchanging higher rarity cards won’t be an option within the game. Instead, trading will only occur between Pokemon TCG Pocket players swapping one- and two-diamond basic cards and their evolutions, three-diamond silver-bordered cards, four-diamond ex cards, and one-star non-ex cards.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Leak Suggests Limited Trading Function
