Starting from January’s first week, subscribers of the Pokemon TCG Pocket Premium Pass gained access to unique Charizard merchandise such as a coin, playmat, and card sleeves. This pass also provides a free Moltres ex card featuring exclusive promo artwork. Moreover, it offers additional missions which grant Premium Tickets for purchasing special play area accessories. However, some players like Reddit user dams96 have expressed dissatisfaction with the rewards from other premium missions that only offer a few extra Pack Hourglasses and Wonder Hourglasses, items that can be acquired through leveling up or completing regular missions without the need for a premium pass.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Premium Players Want Better Rewards

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, although premium mission rewards aren’t scarce, they do offer an edge to players, allowing them to open more card packs and make more Wonder Picks. However, this player contends that the amount of these rewards isn’t substantial enough to warrant the purchase of premium content. For instance, accumulating 77 cards earns Premium Pass holders two Hourglasses for pack draws and two more for Wonder Picks, reducing the time needed by two hours for each. Nevertheless, all players get four hourglass packs daily simply by logging into the game.

Instead of viewing the additional hourglasses as the primary advantage, some Premium Pass holders believe that they are appreciating the premium rewards incorrectly. These players contend that the real benefits lie in the exclusive Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards and cosmetic items, which are only accessible with a paid membership.
