Initially leaked information has turned out to be accurate: The Triumphant Light A2A Set and Ranked Battles are officially on their way to the Pokémon TCG Pocket, and their arrival is imminent.
On February 27, it was unveiled that Triumphant Light A2A had been kept under wraps, following a leak which exposed the new set design. The Pokémon Presents presentation on February 28 officially confirmed this as a fresh mini-set, similar to Mythical Island, and packed with numerous new cards and former beasts.
In addition to this, it’s now confirmed that the leaked Ranked Battle system has been made official as well. Players of Pocket can anticipate showcasing their top-tier decks in a competitive setting.
Triumphant Light & Ranked Battles Coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket
During the Pokémon Presents event in February 205, an array of exciting content was revealed across various mobile and console games produced by the company. However, there’s been a lot of buzz among fans of the Pokémon TCG Pocket game about potential game-changing features and updates to existing content for some time now.
A while ago, the contents of Set A2A were exposed, and since then, we’ve had a chance to take a good look at it ourselves. The initial trailer is filled with the expected visual treats of gleaming new cards and unique Pokémon that are likely to be hard to obtain. Additionally, it seems like there will be fresh Events, Drops, and possibly more Solo Battles to tackle as well.
Additionally, Ranked Battles are being introduced to assess the performance of decks, player skills, and let’s not forget a dash of good fortune.
The presentation didn’t delve deeply into the technical aspects of the system, but it seemed to suggest a competitive league system similar to many ranked modes, where winning matches raises your rank, leading to improved rewards and tougher opponents.
