In the upcoming expansion of the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, there will be two booster packs available, providing an excellent chance for players who have saved up Hourglasses. Soon, Pokemon TCG Pocket is set to advance with more cards being added to its collection.
On July 30th, these new cards will make their first appearance alongside the release of “Wisdom of Sea and Sky“, the fourth major expansion pack for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (Pocket Edition). This collection primarily highlights Generation 2 Pokémon, offering more than 200 cards. Some of these cards are familiar to enthusiasts, such as the ex cards of Lugia, Ho-Oh, Espeon, and Umbreon, along with four trainer cards. The release of this expansion will provide ample excitement for the Pokémon TCG Pocket community, particularly collectors.
With the arrival of Wisdom of Sea and Sky, Pokemon TCG Pocket will offer players not one, but two booster packs to open! This is a change from the previous release of Eevee Grove miniset, where only a single booster pack was available. The new packs are themed – one around Lugia and the other around Ho-Oh. However, details regarding which cards will be included in each pack remain unknown within the Pokemon TCG Pocket community at this time.
What to Expect from the Release of the New Pokemon TCG Pocket Set, Wisdom of Sea and Sky
In the upcoming expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game, referred to as “Pokemon TCG Pocket,” fans can anticipate cards showcasing popular Johto pocket monsters like Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, along with other regional creatures such as Xatu, Wooper, Ampharos, and Wobbuffet. A notable feature of this expansion will be the introduction of baby Pokemon cards, such as Pichu and Cleffa, which were first seen in the second-generation games. Some of these cards have already been revealed, including a beautifully illustrated Togepi by Terada Tera and a captivating Pichu by Kanami Ogata.
Alongside the introduction of fresh cards, the debut of Wisdom of Sea and Sky corroborates earlier rumors about the Pokemon TCG Pocket collection and is set to instigate substantial alterations within the trade mechanism. The wish list function allows players to mark cards they desire, streamlining trades with fellow community members. Players can swap their Trade Tokens for Shinedust, which will serve as the new trading currency alongside Hourglasses Packs. Additionally, the in-game shop will introduce new items such as a binder cover and a two-card display board featuring an artwork depicting Lugia and Ho-Oh engaged in battle.
