Okay, so as a Pokemon TCG player, I’m super hyped right now! The Pokemon Company just revealed a brand-new, incredibly cool Special Illustration Rare card that’s coming in the next expansion, and it looks like Mega Absol ex is going to be a big part of it! This expansion, called ‘Mega Evolution,’ is going to be huge – they’re bringing back Mega Pokemon to the game, and ten different ones will be making their debut on cards. Seriously, this is one of the biggest sets in years, and this new card looks amazing!
The Pokémon Company has revealed some of the beautiful full-art cards that will be included in the next Pokémon Trading Card Game set. Both Mega Gardevoir ex and Mega Lucario ex will get stunning new cards with unique artwork, and these cards may introduce a new level of rarity to the game. Fans of the original Pokémon starters will also be excited to see Bulbasaur and its evolutions featured on special Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards. Now, Pokémon is giving us a look at another incredible full-art card showcasing a Mega Evolution.
As a Pokémon TCG fan, I’m so hyped about the latest card reveal! They just announced Mega Absol ex as the next Special Illustration Rare, and it looks incredible. The artwork shows Mega Absol looking really powerful, standing on top of a building in Lumiose City. It’s a Basic Pokémon with a huge 280 HP, and its attacks are seriously strong – one can even knock out opponents instantly, and another forces them to discard cards! The Mega Evolution set drops on September 26th, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this card!

The new Pokémon expansion, Mega Evolution, is packed with exciting cards, especially beautiful full-art versions. Competitive players will find several strong additions, like the draw-power Supporter card “Lillie’s Determination” and the new Stadium cards “Forest of Vitality” and “Mystery Garden”. Certain Pokémon from this set are also predicted to be fan favorites – Solrock and Lunatone will likely see play in Psychic-type decks, and the new Meganium card should be a hit with players who build Grass-type decks.
As a long-time Pokémon TCG player, I’m super hyped about where the game is going! 2025 has already been amazing, and the new Prismatic Evolutions set was a huge hit – everyone was trying to pull those gorgeous Eeveelution cards. It’s not just the return of Mega Evolutions either; the ‘Journey Together’ set brought back ‘owner’s Pokémon’ after over 20 years, which is awesome! Seriously, there’s a ton of cool stuff coming for Pokémon TCG fans, and I can’t wait to see what they release next.
