With my phone always by my side, this mobile version will allow me to easily collect and manage my ever-growing deck of cards on-the-go. The daily free booster packs are a fantastic touch that will undoubtedly keep me engaged and eagerly awaiting each day’s new additions to my collection.


Announcing that the compact version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, known as Pokemon Card Game On-The-Go, is set to launch on October 30, 2024. Excitingly, pre-registration for this title has already begun! Many devotees of Game Freak’s video game series are not only avid gamers but also enthusiasts of the franchise’s Trading Card Game (TCG). Soon, these players will have the opportunity to carry their beloved card game with them as Pokemon Card Game On-The-Go is scheduled for release later this year.

The mobile version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, called “Pokémon TCG Pocket”, is now open for pre-registration. It’s set to launch soon, and those who register early will be able to start playing immediately upon release. The game was officially announced during the 2024 Pokémon World Championships that took place in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, you’ll have a breeze collecting cards showcasing your beloved pocket monsters. This digital game boasts unique expressions and visual effects that can only be achieved in this format. You’ll receive two complimentary booster packs daily to help grow your collection. At the 2024 Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company unveiled a fresh collection for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, called Paradise Dragona. Four previews of this upcoming set were shown, showcasing Latios, Latias, Exeggcute, and Alolan Exeggutor. Notably, Latias and Alolan Exeggutor will be exclusive cards, while the cards featuring Latios and Latias will display interconnected artwork to create a larger image. Paradise Dragona is set to include other well-liked Dragon-Type Pokémon like Flygon, Duraludon, and many others. The Japanese version of this set is scheduled for release on September 13; the English cards are expected to be included in the Surging Sparks set, which drops in November.

At the 2024 Pokemon World Championships, there was some uproar. In the Trading Card Game (TCG) segment of the event, a competitor named Carlos Eduardo Ruiz was exposed for cheating when a video of him playing went viral. The footage shows Ruiz taking a card from his discard pile and keeping it on his lap before adding it to his hand. Despite being disqualified, many fans are advocating for Ruiz to be barred from future Pokemon TCG tournaments. Interestingly, Ruiz was using a mat given to “Pokemon Professors” as part of a program by The Pokemon Company, designed to uphold fair play and enforce the rules of the game. A Mexican gaming organization linked to Ruiz has ended its association with him after this incident.
