Pokopia is partnering with IKEA, and IKEA is appearing in Pokopia! Pokopia is a relaxing simulation game that’s perfect for fans of cozy games and the Pokemon series. Players especially love the game’s wide variety of furniture, decorations, and creative options.

In the game Pokopia, players will encounter hundreds of Pokémon while exploring. They can choose to leave Pokémon in their natural habitats, but building and decorating homes for them is encouraged. Doing so increases the town’s comfort, unlocking new items and upgrades. With over 300 Pokémon to discover, multiple towns to visit, and even a customizable Cloud Island, Pokopia offers a lot of opportunities for players who enjoy decorating and could easily keep them engaged for hundreds of hours.

IKEA Brings Pokopia to Its Stores and IKEA Store Designs to Pokopia

IKEA, the popular Swedish furniture retailer, is partnering with Pokemon Pokopia! From April 1st to May 10th, 2026, IKEA will showcase virtual home designs inspired by the game within its stores. They’ve created rooms based on the Pokemon Snorlax and Pikachu, allowing players to experience them both in the Pokopia Cloud Island game and as real-life displays in IKEA stores. Fans can preview the IKEA Island in Pokopia before visiting a store to see the recreations. To access it, players need to buy Mystery Goggles from the Pokemon Center PC, wear them, and enter the code JUSHO to find the IKEA Island. In the game, Pikachu’s room includes a couch shaped like Pikachu, and the in-store version is a vibrant yellow couch with a red pillow mimicking Pikachu’s cheeks. The room designed for Snorlax and Munchlax features a striped bed with blue pillows and furniture in light beige tones.

When Is the Pokopia In-Store Event in Pokopia

Players can enjoy fun activities at participating stores. They can pick up a stamp rally card and answer trivia questions at each station. Collecting seven stamps lets them trade the card for a souvenir. IKEA Family members who spend a certain amount at IKEA will also get exclusive Pokopia stickers – there are six different designs to collect! After getting a sticker at a store, players will learn how to enter a raffle for a chance to win an IKEA gift card, a themed keychain, or a complete set of all six Pokopia stickers.

As a big fan, I’m so excited to hear that IKEA restaurants are getting a Pokopia makeover! They’re adding cool photo spots with Pokopia designs, and even the food will come with a special Pokopia paper decoration you can keep – how cute is that? It won’t be available until after April 18th, so we’ll have to wait a little bit, but it’s totally worth it. It’s really fun to see IKEA and Pokémon team up like this – it’s unexpected! It actually makes me want to design my room to look like something out of Pokopia, or maybe even recreate it in-game. I wonder if other players will get inspired too!
