A Reddit user named Acceptable-Station58 shared photos of an enormous, shiny Charizard sculpture breathing fire over the Rocky Ridges area of their Pokemon Pokopia creation. The Pokemon’s striking black design, with its head down and wings spread, is truly impressive. The artist hasn’t said how long it took to build, but they’re hesitant to make similar sculptures of Blastoise and Venusaur, knowing how much time it would require. After such a detailed project, creating two more feels a bit overwhelming, especially since the Charizard is still being refined. Once complete, Acceptable-Station58 plans to create a dedicated habitat for Fire-type Pokemon within Pokopia.

As a huge Pokemon fan, I’ve always been fascinated by Shiny Pokemon, and Shiny Charizard is a perfect example of why! Regular Charizard is famous for its orange color, but the Shiny version is completely black – it’s such a striking change! It really shows how just switching up the colors can completely transform a Pokemon’s look. Honestly, Charizard is probably one of the most well-known Shiny Pokemon out there, even for people who don’t play the games regularly. Maybe some newer Shinies are cooler, but few are as instantly recognizable, and that’s why I think this creation by Acceptable-Station58 is so awesome.

In only a few weeks, players have built impressive creations, including huge Pokemon figures like this one, and even structures inspired by locations from the Pokemon anime.
