Okay, so Huggy Wuggy is back and he’s seriously creepy as ever in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5. I just got to the part where you’re stuck in a room with him after collecting all the memories in the Conditioning area. Basically, you need to find three batteries to power up the door panels and escape. I figured I’d share a quick guide to help anyone else get through this Huggy encounter and snag the locker code while you’re at it. It’s pretty stressful, so hopefully this makes it a little easier!
How to Charge Door Panels & Escape Huggy Wuggy Room in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 (Battery Locations)
To get out of the Huggy Wuggy room in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, you need to power the door with three batteries. These batteries are hidden in locked rooms, so you’ll have to find a way inside, carry them back, and avoid being seen by Huggy Wuggy. Here’s a guide to help you escape!
- Access three different locked rooms.
- Drag the batteries inside and plug them into the door panels. The Pressure Hand will be useful for pushing batteries far.
- To distract Huggy Wuggy, use the Conductive Hand to charge up projectors.
Battery Location #1
To find the first battery needed to power the door panel in the Huggy Wuggy room, head through the purple door on the right until you reach the area with the shoe racks and the electrical panel. You’ll see a vent cover on the floor – open it to crawl inside.
Continue along the vent until you reach its end. Look up – you’ll see a handle for your GrabPack. Once you’ve used the GrabPack to swing up and grab onto the handle, look down. You’ll notice another vent cover. Use the second hand of your GrabPack to interact with it, which will allow you to crawl further and drop down into one of the locked rooms.
In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, you can find a battery and drag it into one of the slots to power up the door panels. Once the battery is connected, a light on the panel will turn green.
Don’t forget to take one of the collectible Wrongside Outimals dolls from the table here.
Battery Location #2
To find the second battery, look for a handlebar to the left of the room where you collected the first one. Use your GrabPack to pull yourself onto the bar, then climb over the boxes to reach the vent cover. Remove the cover and drop down into the room below.
In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, you can charge the battery by dragging it to one of the slots on the door panel.
If Huggy Wuggy is nearby, you can power up your Conductive Hand using the electrical panels around you, then activate a projector. This should distract him, giving you time to put the battery into a door panel.
Battery Location #3
Finding the third battery to power the door panels can be a little challenging in the Huggy Wuggy escape room of Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5. As soon as you leave the room where you found the second battery, enter the room directly across from the desk. You’ll see a projector terminal that’s covered by a box.
First, get rid of the box and then charge the Conductive Hand using the Electric Panel next to the locker, which is located outside the room. After that, turn on the projector. This will cause Huggy Wuggy to enter the room and start watching the video. Once Huggy is focused on the video, quickly move to a safe spot and wait for it to leave the room.
After Huggy takes the projector and leaves, go back to that spot. You’ll see a large hole in the wall where the projector went through. Crawl through the hole, and you’ll find the third battery on a desk. Just like the other batteries, drag this one to one of the remaining door panels.
After you insert all three batteries, the door to Sweet Street will unlock. From there, you can either exit or continue searching the Huggy Wuggy escape room for the locker code and grab the collectible doll.
Huggy Wuggy Escape Room Locker Code in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5
In the Huggy Wuggy escape room of Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, you can find a code for one of the Wrongside Outimals dolls inside a locker. But first, you’ll need to power it up! The locker is initially off, so you must recharge three power nodes nearby. You can do this by using the Electric panels to charge your Conductive Hand, then touching each node.
Here’s all the locations of the power nodes for the locker in Huggy Wuggy escape room.
- The first one is directly left of the large purple door.
- The second one can be found on the left wall of the vent that you use to enter the locked room for the first battery.
- The last one can be found directly left of the handlebar you use to get on top of the locked room, where you find the second battery.
After powering up all the nodes, the locker will activate. Then, you’ll need to find four code pieces to unlock it. Each player will have a unique code, so check the locations listed below to find the correct code for your Huggy Wuggy escape room locker.
| Locker Code Location | Image |
|---|---|
| The first digit of the locker code can be found on a piece of paper lying on the ground near the shoe racks, to the right of the room where you find the first battery. It’s directly in front of the last power node. |
|
| The second piece of paper with the locker code digit can be found inside the room where you find the first battery. It’s sitting under the metallic table between the sinks. |
|
| The third paper with the code can be found inside the room where you find the second battery. It’s sitting below one of the metal trolleys. |
|
| The paper with the last digit of the Huggy Wuggy escape room locker code can be found inside the room that you access through a hole in the wall, and acquire the third battery. It’s sitting on the desk under the whiteboard. |

Okay, so after I finally tracked down all the numbers for the locker code in the Huggy Wuggy escape room in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, I just punched them into the keypad. Once it opened, I snagged one of those creepy Wrongside Outimals dolls – it’s called “Blanky Blankz.”
