The upcoming PowerWash Simulator 2 is set to be available on the first day for subscribers of Xbox Game Pass, as announced recently.
Earlier this year, it was disclosed that the launch would occur prior to the end of 2025, and more recently, we’ve learned that it’s now expected in Fall 2025. Although an exact date hasn’t been specified, there is some exciting news about the timeline.
At Gamescom, it was confirmed that PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available for play and is set to debut on the Xbox Game Pass collection as a game launched on the first day.
PowerWash Simulator 2 Releasing on Game Pass
On the platform previously known as Twitter, a new post emerged, featuring exciting gameplay previews. It was disclosed that the game will be accessible on Xbox Game Pass from its launch date, adding a touch of whimsy to the Xbox experience this coming autumn.
Given that the original game debuted on consoles last July following a pre-release phase on Steam, and it simultaneously launched on the Game Pass service, it’s not too shocking to hear it will continue to be available there moving forward.
While a Game Pass subscription doesn’t come with expansion packs for the original game, it’s yet uncertain if the same policy will apply to the sequel.
In simple terms, PowerWash Simulator 2 offers a brand-new adventure for you to clean up, introducing unique settings, complex tasks spanning multiple stages, novel cleaning equipment, and the opportunity to personalize your hub with items earned along your trip.
The new equipment includes a system for rappelling and a lift called a cherry picker, allowing you to access tricky areas that have been frustratingly out of your grasp. Simultaneously playing in cooperative mode online will allow progress to be synchronized, and the game also supports split-screen play on a single couch.
