Pragmata Gameplay Shows Combat and Hacking Puzzles

During a special online event at Tokyo Game Show 2025, Capcom gave fans a better look at gameplay for their upcoming game, Pragmata. The showcase highlighted the game’s unique puzzles, combat system, and other features. While players will need to wait until 2026 to experience the sci-fi world of Pragmata, Capcom is now sharing more details about this action-adventure title.

Man, I’ve been waiting for *Pragmata* forever! It was first shown off way back in 2020, and I was so hyped. The game follows Hugh and Diana, these characters with cybernetic upgrades, as they try to break out of a space station overrun with killer robots. It was supposed to come out in 2022, but it kept getting delayed. At one point last year, it looked like the game was cancelled completely! Luckily, they announced earlier this year that it’s *finally* coming in 2026. It’s been a long wait, but I’m still really excited.

Pragmata Shows off Hacking Puzzles and More

The Tokyo Game Show 2025 kicked off with a nearly three-minute trailer for *Pragmata*. The trailer introduces the game’s two main characters, Hugh and his younger companion, as they seek upgrades in a shelter. We see Diana, Hugh’s companion, use a unique method – uploading a program through a port in her mouth – to weaken enemies. The trailer then showcases combat, with Diana riding on Hugh’s shoulder and hacking into an enemy robot. During the hack, time slows down, and players get a glimpse of a puzzle where they must navigate a grid of symbols to succeed. Successfully hacking the robot significantly boosts the damage Hugh can inflict with his pistol. Fans are now excited to find out more about *Pragmata* in the months ahead.
