These extraterrestrial entities, known as Harvesters, are renowned for their intelligence and advanced technology. They attempted to conquer Earth to exploit its resources, coming dangerously close to wiping out humanity. The trailer also showcases Fanning’s character Thia being bound to a tree, with the Weyland-Yutani logo etched stylishly as ‘W’ and ‘Y’ visible in her eyes. This distinctive emblem is associated with the “Alien” franchise, first appearing in the 1979 “Alien” movie. The Weyland-Yutani logo symbolizes the company’s wide-reaching influence, technological prowess, and corporate control.
