The events of “Pokémon Z-A” unfold in the north-central part of Kalos, but unlike before, Lumiose City has been refurbished to become a harmonious living space for both Pokémon and humans, similar to Ryme City as depicted in the movie “Detective Pikachu.

In the upcoming game Z-A, for the first time, Pokémon and their trainers will move dynamically during battles. This adds an innovative twist to timing attacks, switching Pokémon, and numerous other aspects. Apart from the revamped battle system, Mega Evolutions make a reappearance. Initially introduced in the X and Y games, it’s fitting that this feature returns in the city-focused Z-A game.
