How To Get Prickly Pear in ARC Raiders

You’ll find lots of Prickly Pear plants in the early areas of ARC Raiders, specifically Dam Battleground and Buried City. However, these plants don’t always produce resources, and you can’t chop them down, so players need to search thoroughly to collect enough.

You’ll find Prickly Pear fruit lying on the ground near the plants. Search around to collect them! Just press the button shown on screen to add them to your inventory.

Dam Battleground

You can find Prickly Pear fairly often in the Dam Battlegrounds, but it’s not always there when you need it. The best place to consistently find it is just south of the Research and Administration building – that area also has great loot, so it’s worth checking out.

The same is true for Buried City. While the map’s edges are full of desert cacti, you won’t be able to harvest from all of them. For the best chance of finding what you need, check around Dune’s End in the northeast part of the map.

In ARC Raiders, Prickly Pear serves several functions. You’ll use some of these throughout the game, while others are one-time uses.

Prickly Pear can be used for the following:

  • To upgrade Scrappy the Rooster.
  • To grant a temporary increase in stamina.
  • To craft a Fruit Mix, to increase health and stamina.
