Today at Ubisoft’s financial report, they announced that several projects from their popular series have been postponed until the upcoming fiscal year.
Nonetheless, there’s been a confirmation that the remake of “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” will indeed be released by April 2026, concluding the ongoing fiscal year.
Today’s financial report reveals that Ubisoft plans to launch games such as Anno 117: Pax Romana, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Resurgence, and several other titles during this fiscal year.
It was previously confirmed that the release of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time would occur in 2026. Now, the anticipated launch date falls within the range of January to March 2026.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Has Been Built From The Ground Up
Earlier reports stated that the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was constructed anew. Now, it appears significantly altered compared to the initial trailer presented at its original announcement.
It seems the ongoing project is rumored to undergo a significant visual upgrade, incorporate fresh animations, introduce innovative parkour and combat techniques, and also boast some intriguing new features and enhancements.
Following the disappointing financial performance of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it’s imperative now for the series to thrive financially that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake achieves commercial success. Fingers crossed that it delivers an enjoyable experience for both old and new fans next year.
Additionally, it’s noteworthy that towards the conclusion of this fiscal year, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will debut its initial expansion, while Rainbow Six Siege is expected to roll out its major X update.
Beyond Good & Evil 2, though, keeps staying in the shadows, as there was no mention of it today.
