Although Davis primarily delves into dramas, she ventured into the realm of superheroes when she joined the cast of Suicide Squad in 2016 and its 2021 sequel. I’m not sure which hero I would portray. You know, my daughter is a Marvel enthusiast, so I’ve seen most of them about five or six times. Even she has a character in mind for herself – something like ‘Iron Mania’ or ‘Iron Shaniqua Mania.’

Despite Marvel Studios’ intentions regarding Iron Man content post-“Avengers: Endgame” remaining uncertain, it’s definite that Davis expresses interest in participating in some aspect of their projects. She showcased her talent as Amanda Waller, a tough and assertive government agent who wasn’t afraid to challenge formidable anti-heroes in the “Suicide Squad” films for DC Studios. It’s possible that she could assume a similar role within the MCU at some point down the line. Whether she appears as a superhero or a villain, such a casting decision would undoubtedly be thrilling.

Davis’ participation in a DC Studios film doesn’t necessarily mean she won’t join Marvel. Actors like Idris Elba, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, and Michael Keaton have switched between superhero franchises in the past, and having Davis do the same would be an appealing option for fans.
