On March 18th, subscribers of PlayStation Plus will no longer have access to ten games, including popular titles like “Mortal Kombat 11” and last year’s “Resident Evil 3”. The basic subscription level for PlayStation Plus offers numerous advantages such as online gaming and new monthly games. However, the Extra and Premium tiers provide even more perks, particularly a substantial game library. It is important to note that while new games are added frequently, some are also taken off, with several high-profile games set to depart from the service in a matter of weeks.
On February 18th, some popular titles were removed from the game catalog for PlayStation Plus subscribers, who have been enjoying titles like Tales of Arise, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, Scarlet Nexus, and more. However, new games continue to be added throughout February and March. Unfortunately, it was announced that additional games will depart the service on March 18th as well.
Based on reports from Twitter user PlayStation Game Size, who noticed the “last chance to play” section on the PlayStation Plus game catalog, ten games are set to depart from the service on March 18. The list of games includes Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6, Resident Evil 3 (2020), Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, Life Is Strange: True Colors, Life Is Strange 2: Complete Season, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Street Fighter V – Champion Edition, and Mortal Kombat 11. Many players have voiced their disappointment at these games leaving the game catalog on March 18, with one user lamenting that PlayStation tends to remove quality titles.

I’m absolutely thrilled! On February 18th, there’s a stack of fresh games dropping on PlayStation Plus Extra, and I can hardly wait! Games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Top Spin 2K25, SaGa Frontier Remastered, and many more are joining the lineup. If you’re a Premium subscriber, getting even more bang for your buck, Sony’s confirmed that classic titles such as Dropship: United Peace Force and Patapon 3 will be available on the same day. To top it off, they’ve hinted at bringing three Armored Core games to the service in 2025, but they haven’t given us a release date just yet. This is going to be one heck of a gaming month!
During the latest State of Play event held in February 2025, all upcoming games for PlayStation’s popular subscription service were unveiled. This gathering also brought significant updates about PS Plus, along with release dates for eagerly awaited titles like “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” and “Borderlands 4”. Additionally, the event introduced “Days Gone Remastered” and a new game titled “Saros”, developed by Housemarque, creators of “Returnal”. “Saros” is scheduled to debut on PlayStation 5 in 2026.
