PlayStation Plus members now have eight new games coming to the Extra tier and one more added to the Premium tier. The Extra tier includes the monthly free games from the Essential tier, plus a wide range of PS4 and PS5 games to play. The Premium tier takes it a step further with classic retro games, offering the most value overall.
PS Plus members have had a great start to December 2025, with a larger-than-usual selection of free games for Essential subscribers. Right now, anyone with a PS Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium membership can download and play Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Neon White, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and The Outlast Trials at no cost.
It’s interesting that LEGO Horizon Adventures is both a free PlayStation Plus game for December 2025 and will also be added to the Extra game library on December 16th. Along with LEGO Horizon Adventures, the Extra tier will also include Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Cat Quest 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, Paw Patrol World, Planet Coaster 2, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. PlayStation Plus Premium members will get all of those, plus the classic PlayStation 2 fighting game Soulcalibur 3.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can start playing these games on December 16th. This is the second game update for the Extra tier this month. On December 8th, Skate Story was added to PS Plus Extra, letting subscribers play the popular new game immediately upon its release.
