PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members now have eight new games to enjoy thanks to a recent update. PlayStation Plus regularly adds fresh games to these tiers each month, giving subscribers a constant stream of new content.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members get more than just the games included with their subscription. They also receive the free monthly games available to Essential members. Right now, subscribers can claim September 2025’s free games, which are a great lineup including *Psychonauts 2*, a 3D platformer; *Stardew Valley*, a popular farming and life simulation game; and *Viewfinder*, a unique puzzle game.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members have already been enjoying some free games, and now even more titles have been added for them to explore. For September 2025, PS Plus Extra includes *Conscript*, *Crow Country*, *Fate/Samurai Remnant*, *Green Hell*, *Persona 5 Tactica*, *The Invincible*, and *WWE 2K25*. PS Plus Premium members get access to all of those games, plus an additional title: *Legacy of Kain: Defiance*.

This month’s update to the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries isn’t the largest of the year, but it offers some good additions. Horror fans will enjoy *Conscript* and *Crow Country*, and players interested in the *Legacy of Kain* series can now play *Legacy of Kain: Defiance* on both PS4 and PS5. *Persona 5 Tactica* is a great choice for strategy game enthusiasts, particularly those who love *Persona 5*, and *WWE 2K25*-a highly-rated wrestling game released less than a year ago-adds even more value to the service.
Ugh, I was pretty bummed to see the recent PS Plus Extra and Premium update also meant some games were leaving! They took off seven titles, including some I really enjoyed like *Dragon’s Crown Pro*, *FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch*, *Odin Sphere Leifthrasir*, *Pistol Whip*, *Road 96*, *The Plucky Squire*, and even *UFC 5*. It’s always a bit of a shame when games get removed from the service, you know?
