Sony announced that four games will be leaving PlayStation Plus in October 2025. PlayStation Plus subscribers should play them before they’re gone! The service regularly updates its game selection, removing some titles to make room for new ones for Extra and Premium members.
PlayStation Plus members get a new selection of games to play each month. With the Premium tier, you can also access classic games from the original PlayStation, PS2, and PSP. This September, just in time for Halloween, PS Plus is adding several popular indie horror games, including *Conscript* and *Crow Country*. *Crow Country* is particularly well-liked, drawing inspiration from classic PlayStation horror games like *Silent Hill* and *Resident Evil*. In it, you play as investigator Mara Forest, uncovering the mysteries of an abandoned theme park. Other games available this month are *Persona 5 Tactica*, *The Invincible*, and *WWE 2K25*.

Sony is updating its PS Plus game library, which means some games will be removed to make room for new ones. On October 21st, four titles will be leaving the service: *Battlefield 1*, *Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed*, *Tour de France 2023*, and *The Last Clockwinder*. Although *Battlefield 1* from 2016 is still loved by many, players will likely be focused on the upcoming release of *Battlefield 6* on October 10th. *Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed* is a fun multiplayer game that’s perfect for the Halloween season, and *Tour de France 2023* offers a realistic cycling experience. If you have a PlayStation VR2, *The Last Clockwinder* is a well-regarded puzzle game that earned award nominations, including Immersive Reality Game of the Year in 2022.
In September 2025, several games were removed from the PS Plus subscription service, including *Road 96*, *UFC 5*, *Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir*, and *Pistol Whip*. Unfortunately, the charming adventure game *The Plucky Squire* was also taken off the Extra and Premium tiers. Released in 2024, *The Plucky Squire* lets players follow beloved storybook characters as they explore a 3D world outside their book.
A new system update is available now for PlayStation 5 owners with a PS Plus subscription. Released in September 2025, the update lets you connect your DualSense controller to more than one device simultaneously. It also includes a new “Power Saver” mode that lowers energy use by adjusting the console’s performance.
