PS Plus Monthly Games for October 2025 Wish List

September’s PlayStation Plus games are now available on all three subscription tiers. Recent months have seen more positive feedback on the game selections, with titles like *Lies of P*, *Stardew Valley*, and *Sword of the Sea* being especially well-received by PlayStation Plus members. With September halfway over and October’s games coming soon, it’s a good time to start thinking about what might be included in the next lineup.

PS Plus October 2025 Wish List: Until Dawn Remake

September’s PlayStation Plus lineup featured some excellent indie horror games, so it would make sense for October to include a bigger, more well-known horror title. Supermassive Games’ *Until Dawn* was the game that established their reputation for story-driven, psychological thrillers. With Halloween approaching and rumors about both a remake and a sequel to *Until Dawn*, a remastered version of the original 2015 game would be a fantastic addition to the service.

Supermassive Games has pushed back the release of its upcoming horror game, *Directive 8020*, which is part of *The Dark Picture* anthology series. It’s now expected to launch sometime in the first six months of 2026.

PS Plus October 2025 Wish List: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

The highly praised second game in the *Hellblade* series, *Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2*, boasts stunning graphics and a deeply moving story, powerfully delivered by Melina Jürgens. Published by Xbox Game Studios and initially available on Game Pass, it would be great to see *Hellblade 2* added to PlayStation Plus. Microsoft has been sharing some of its games with PlayStation Plus subscribers, and this would continue that trend – plus, it’s a perfect game to play during spooky season!

PS Plus October 2025 Wish List: Terminator: Resistance

I’ve been following Teyon for a while now, and they’ve really found their groove making games based on classic action movies – kind of in that sweet spot between big-budget AAA and indie titles. Their first attempt, the *Rambo* game, wasn’t amazing, but *Terminator: Resistance* was a huge improvement. It’s a totally new story set 30 years after Judgment Day, and you don’t play as the Terminator! Instead, you’re Private Jacob Rivers, fighting with John Connor’s resistance against Skynet. It’s a cool perspective, being a regular soldier trying to survive against all those machines.

Teyon recently released *RoboCop: Rogue City*, which was available on PS Plus in April, followed by its ‘Unfinished Business’ DLC in July. Another retro shooter, *Terminator 2D: No Fate*, is launching at the end of October. It would be great for fans of the *Terminator* series and FPS games if *Terminator: Resistance* were also added to PS Plus before then.

October 2025 Wish List For PS Plus Extra and Premium

  • Helldivers– While it was on PS Plus back in 2016 and is a much different genre than the massively popular sequel, after nearly 10 years and with Helldivers 2 momentum still going strong, the first entry coming to PS Plus again would give more players a chance to see the franchise’s origins and try their hand at its intense twin-stick shooting gameplay.
  • Silent Hill 2 Remake– Bloober Team’s take on the 2001 classic brought the seminal entry into the modern era and was embraced by many new and returning fans. Including it on one of the higher tiers close to a year after its launch would be a nice way to bring things full circle, especially as the next new entry, Silent Hill f, releases on September 25.
  • Nine Sols– Though Hollow Knight: Silksong is currently dominating the conversation around the genre, Nine Sols is one of the most recent and best overlooked 2-D Soulslike Metroidvanias, offering a similarly satisfying experience and striking art style.
  • Rule of Rose: Though it never achieved the recognition of Silent Hill, Rule of Rose is a psychological survival horror cult classic that continues to be discovered, and would be well-served by coming to PS Plus.
  • Pentiment– Obsidian Entertainment’s experimental narrative adventure title, Pentiment offers a unique take on historical fiction through its engaging mystery tale and choice and skill-based mechanics.
  • Firewatch– One of the most celebrated first-person narrative exploration titles, Firewatch features some of the best writing and character work in the genre. With a cozier setting and vibes to match, it would round out October’s PS Plus picks perfectly.
