By September 2023, Sony increased the prices of PlayStation Plus across all its tiers worldwide, including Latin America. The price hike, roughly equivalent to a 30% increase, affected every region.
Approximately sixteen Latin American nations, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and others, will experience another price rise in their markets as announced by Sony on April 9. The degree of the increase depends on the PS Plus tier, ranging from 8.34% to 21.43%. This adjustment is set to take effect on Wednesday, April 16. The affected countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.
