PlayStation Plus members have until January 5th to download this month’s free games – a special offer of five titles instead of the usual three. Typically, PlayStation Plus provides three free games each month for all subscription levels. But sometimes, Sony adds extra games as a bonus.
To finish the year well, Sony is offering PlayStation Plus members five free games in December 2025. You need an active PlayStation Plus subscription to claim these games, but once you do, they’re yours to keep permanently. This is different from the regular PS Plus Extra and Premium game libraries, where games change each month.
PlayStation Plus members, don’t forget to grab this month’s free games before January 5th! Currently, you can download LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and Neon White at no cost. These games will be replaced with new free titles in January 2026, which will likely be announced around December 31st. Keep an eye out for more details!

If you haven’t checked out this month’s free PlayStation Plus games yet, LEGO Horizon Adventures is a fun, cooperative action game that reimagines the story of Horizon Zero Dawn for a younger audience. It plays a lot like other LEGO games made by TT Games, but it also introduces some new and unique features.
Killing Floor 3 is a cooperative first-person shooter where players fight waves of terrifying monsters. Unlike the family-friendly LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3 is quite intense, and that’s what many players enjoy. Because it’s available for free with a PS Plus subscription, it should be easier to find a group of six players to play with, as subscribers don’t need to purchase the game separately.
If you’re a horror fan, you’ll probably enjoy both Killing Floor 3 and The Outlast Trials. The Outlast Trials builds on the terrifying atmosphere of the Outlast games, but lets you play with friends. Experiencing the scares together makes this potentially the most fun Outlast has ever been, so PlayStation Plus members should definitely consider adding it to their game library.
If you’re looking for a unique game, check out Synduality: Echo of Ada. This sci-fi shooter originally came out in 2025, making it a great addition to the free PlayStation Plus games. While it received mixed reviews when it was first released, PS Plus members can now try it out without spending any money, and might find they really enjoy it.
Neon White is a one-of-a-kind first-person shooter that blends fast-paced action with puzzle-solving. Instead of just shooting, you use cards to perform actions, making each level a unique challenge. With its vibrant anime style and compelling story, it’s easy to see why the game received so much praise. It’s a great fit for PS Plus, and subscribers can claim it – along with four other free games – until January 5th.
