PlayStation Plus is removing Digimon Survive and six other games in its next update for Extra and Premium members. PlayStation Plus typically gets updated twice a month – once at the beginning of the month and again in the middle.
PlayStation Plus free games are updated on the first Tuesday of each month. This is when subscribers to all tiers – Essential, Extra, and Premium – can access the new games. For November 2025, the free games available starting Tuesday, November 4th, will be EA Sports WRC 24, Stray, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.
PlayStation Plus subscribers, mark November 18th on your calendars! That’s when the Extra and Premium tiers will be updated, and seven games will be leaving the service. These games are: Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus – The Awakening of Golden Jazz, Battlefield 5, Digimon Survive, Football Manager 2024 Console Edition, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Synapse, and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.
List of PS Plus Games Leaving Soon

- Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus – The Awakening of Golden Jazz (PS4)
- Battlefield 5 (PS4)
- Digimon Survive (PS4)
- Football Manager 2024 (PS5)
- Like a Dragon: Ishin! (PS4, PS5)
- Synapse (PSVR2)
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (PS4)
The removal of Digimon Survive from PS Plus is particularly unfortunate given the recent surge in popularity for the Digimon franchise. The new game, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, has been a commercial success, attracting many players and receiving positive reviews on Metacritic. This success has renewed interest in Digimon as a whole, and some players may have been hoping to try Digimon Survive through their PS Plus subscription.
If you’re new to the game, Digimon Survive is a blend of story-driven visual novel and strategic RPG gameplay, where your decisions change the story. While reviews for Digimon Survive weren’t as universally positive as Time Stranger, it still has a dedicated fanbase and is worth playing. The main problem is that finishing the game takes around 30 hours, and PlayStation Plus subscribers don’t have much time left to play it before it’s removed from the service.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium will get some new games as soon as Digimon Survive leaves the service. It’s currently unknown if any other Digimon games will be added, but we expect to have more details in the coming weeks.
