PlayStation Plus members don’t have much time left to get this month’s free games. These games are offered to all PlayStation Plus subscribers – those on the Essential, Extra, and Premium plans – and are available for about a month. If you claim them within that time, you get to keep them as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription remains active.
I’m still grabbing the PS Plus games for October, even though it’s November now! They’re really good this month – Alan Wake 2 is amazing, and I’ve heard great things about Cocoon. Plus, Goat Simulator 3 looks like a ton of fun with friends. Honestly, this is one of the best PS Plus lineups I’ve seen all year, so if you’re a subscriber, make sure you download them before they disappear!
Today is the last chance to get Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3 for free with your PS Plus subscription. These games will be swapped out on November 4th with a new selection of free games, but they haven’t generated as much excitement. Starting November 4th, PS Plus members can instead download EA Sports WRC 24, Stray, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.

While all three games—Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3—received generally good reviews, PS Plus subscribers might find this month’s selection a bit underwhelming, especially when compared to the games offered in October 2025. Alan Wake 2 was a critically acclaimed title upon release, and Cocoon and Goat Simulator 3 are both well-liked games. Plus, Stray was previously available to higher-tier PS Plus members when it launched, so many subscribers have already played it. This likely explains the somewhat negative reaction to November’s lineup.
The selection of free games with PlayStation Plus can vary quite a bit – sometimes there’s a great lineup, and other times it might not appeal to everyone. Fortunately, the free games are refreshed every month, so players don’t have to wait long for new options. We’ll find out what’s available for December 2025 at the end of November, and those with PS Plus Extra or Premium will also see updates to those service tiers on November 18th.
