PS Plus Update Adding 8 Games on October 21

Sony recently revealed the new games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in October 2025. PlayStation Plus regularly adds games to these tiers each month, and announcements typically happen mid-month. While the October lineup followed this pattern, some of the games were already known to fans beforehand.

News about the *Silent Hill 2* remake coming to PS Plus Extra surfaced earlier this month. Shortly before Sony’s official announcement, details about even more new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium were revealed online. Now that the official announcement is here, PS Plus members know exactly which games will be added on October 21st.

PlayStation Plus members will have eight new games available starting October 21st. Seven of these – *As Dusk Falls*, *Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1*, *Silent Hill 2*, the *Until Dawn* remake, *V Rising*, *Wizard with a Gun*, and *Yakuza: Like a Dragon* – will be added to the Extra tier. Premium subscribers will get those games plus *Tekken 3* to play as well.

While the PS Plus Premium tier doesn’t have a specific theme, it does include several *Resident Evil* games for those looking for a spooky experience.

October’s PlayStation Plus updates have focused on horror games. Earlier this month, subscribers with the basic PS Plus Essential tier received the award-winning survival-horror game, *Alan Wake 2*, which is now available to add to their game libraries.
