So when Sony announced a new PS5 console update, I was intrigued. I remember the excitement surrounding the launch of the PS5 and how it revolutionized gaming with its impressive graphics, faster load times, and innovative controller.
Sony recently rolled out a new software upgrade for its PlayStation 5 (PS5) series of gaming consoles. Initially, there were two types of PS5 devices: one equipped with a disc drive and another without. Both versions delivered the same level of performance to customers. Later on, Sony introduced sleeker versions of the initial PS5 models. However, whispers suggest that an advanced, more potent PS5 may be in development.
Based on unofficial but trustworthy sources, there’s a rumor that Sony will release an upgraded version of the PS5, named PS5 Pro, this year. If confirmed, the PS5 Pro is expected to outperform existing models due to its enhanced capabilities.
As a long-time PlayStation fan who has owned every console since the original PlayStation, I’m always eagerly anticipating the latest updates and features for my beloved PS5. - You can invite other players to game sessions by sharing a URL to the session.
- To invite other players, open the game session action card and select Share Link. Then, scan the QR code with your mobile device to share the link.
- This feature is available only for open sessions that anyone can join.
- This feature will gradually be rolled out to all players by July 24.
- Voice Command now supports the ability to open Game Help action cards by saying “Show Game Help”.
- Currently, Voice Command (Preview) is available only in English for players with accounts for PlayStation Network in the US and UK.
- We’ve improved system software performance and stability.
- We’ve updated the device software of some DualSense wireless controllers to improve stability.
- We’ve improved the messages and usability on some screens.
