As someone who has been eagerly awaiting the next step in my gaming journey ever since I got my hands on the original PS5, the latest news about the PS5 Pro has me absolutely thrilled! The design details that have surfaced online suggest a sleek and stylish upgrade to my current console, with the white color scheme being reminiscent of the iconic Adidas stripes (no, just joking, but it would’ve been cool though!).

Information about the design of the upgraded PS5 model (PS5 Pro) has been leaked online, suggesting that this mid-generation revamp shares a resemblance with the PS5 Slim design.

Trustworthy gaming news outlet billbil-kun has provided additional information on the forthcoming console, such as its official title, visual aspects, release timeframe, among other aspects. PS5 Pro Design

The report indicates that the upcoming PS5 Pro design maintains a consistent white color on its exterior, similar to previous versions. On the face of the console, users can expect to see two USB-C ports, a power button, and a layout change: instead of one black stripe like the Slim model, there will now be three across both side panels. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the PS5 Pro is slightly larger in size compared to its Slim counterparts.

Controller and Announcement Window

As a fervent admirer, based on the photos billbil-kun has shared, it appears the PS5 Pro might not include a disc drive. Yet, this information requires verification. On the brighter side, the standard DualSense Controller will still be included with the Pro model. The latest report hints that we could hear about the PS5 Pro as soon as the first half of September 2024 – fingers crossed for an announcement!

Previously, TopMob announced that it appears a State of Play event for PlayStation is planned towards the end of September, with potential unveiling of the PS5 Pro during this event.
