The PlayStation Store had a lot of major game releases recently, but this week will be much calmer for both PS5 and PS4 players.
This will give players a chance to enjoy both Battlefield 6 and Ghost of Yotei, two of the most anticipated games releasing this month.
Although no major releases stand out this week, there are still a few games that might interest you.
PS5, PS4 Store Releases For October 13 To October 19
There aren’t any major game releases this week, to be honest. It’s a pretty quiet week for new games.
PS5, PS4 Release Highlights For The Week
Just Dance 2026 Edition for PlayStation 5 arrives on October 14th. As the newest installment in the popular series from Ubisoft, it features updated songs and a new Party Mode designed to give longtime players a fresh experience.
NASCAR 25, coming to PlayStation 5 on October 14th, is the official video game developed by iRacing. It includes all four of NASCAR’s major series – ARCA Menards, Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, and the premier Cup Series – offering a fast-paced racing experience with plenty of action and excitement.
For the rest of the week’s PS5 and PS4 game releases, check out the list below.
- Just Dance 2026 Edition (PS5 – Oct. 14)
- NASCAR 25 (PS5 – Oct. 14)
- Ball X Pit (PS5 – Oct. 15)
- Blood West (PS5 – Oct. 16)
- Deathless: The Hero Quest (PS5 – Oct. 16)
- Overthrown (PS5 – Oct. 16)
- Reach (PSVR2 – Oct. 16)
- KAKU: The Ancient Seal (PS5 – Oct. 17)
- Terrifier: The ARTcade Game (PS5 – Oct. 17)
- The Elf on the Shelf: Christmas Heroes (PS5, PS4 – Oct. 17)
That wraps up the new releases for this week. Although there aren’t many big-budget games out right now, it’s a great opportunity to dive into games like Battlefield 6 or finally complete Ghost of Yotei.
Even though Battlefield 6 had some problems when it first launched, it still attracted a lot of players, and it looks like its popularity will continue for a while.
While Ghost of Yotei doesn’t have a strong central storyline, it excels with its much-improved fighting and beautiful world. It doesn’t reinvent the open-world genre, but it builds on what made Ghost of Tsushima great, while also creating its own distinct feel.
Don’t expect any major releases in the coming weeks, aside from one odd game or two.
