The PlayStation Store has a fresh batch of games this week, and while Resident Evil Requiem is already available, several other interesting titles are coming out soon.
PS4 players won’t have any new game releases this week, which is surprising.
PS5 players have a few promising games to look forward to, including a major new release that aims to significantly expand PlayStation’s online services – though its success remains to be seen.
PS5 Game Releases On PSN For March 2 To March 8

Release Highlights For The Week
Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered arrives on PlayStation 5 March 3rd. This updated version of the 2003 action-adventure game features enhanced HD graphics, improved controls, and a more modern camera. It retains the original story and gameplay experience from the fifth and final installment in the Legacy of Kain series.
Scott Pilgrim EX is a brand-new game for PlayStation 5, launching on March 3rd. Developed by the talented team at Tribute Games, known for their 2D expertise, this game continues the Scott Pilgrim story – picking up after the events of the ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ anime – with a new storyline penned by Lee O’Malley.
Marathon, Bungie’s new shooting game for PlayStation 5, launches on March 5th. After a long development process, players can now test it out and see if it has the potential to become a major online game. It remains to be seen if focusing on Marathon was the right decision for Bungie, considering their other popular game, Destiny 2. Want to learn more? We’ve highlighted 10 reasons why Marathon could be the next big online shooter.

I’m really hoping we’ll start seeing more games released soon, especially as we get closer to the end of March. I’m super excited about Marathon, and if it does well, Sony could have another huge online hit on their hands. But honestly, I’m a little worried it might end up like Concord – let’s really hope that doesn’t happen!
