PUBG: Battlegrounds has added a brand new cooperative mode called Xeno Point, offering players a different way to play. Since launching in 2017, PUBG has been a leading game in the battle royale genre. Even with lots of other similar games available, PUBG has continued to improve and add new content, keeping its players engaged.
The last few weeks have been exciting for PUBG fans, with hints of a possible team-up with Stellar Blade. Players have been guessing what that might look like, and now the latest PUBG update reveals all! The Stellar Blade crossover is officially here, and it’s launching with a completely new way to play: a co-op mode where you team up with others.
PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 41.1 Brings New Xeno Point Mode
Okay, so PUBG just dropped Update 41.1, and it’s HUGE! They’ve added this new mode called Xeno Point where you team up with other players to fight off an alien invasion on Miramar. It’s super fun – you start at this HUB and basically battle waves of these Xeno enemies. You’ve gotta work together, complete objectives, and make sure everyone has what they need. Plus, there are these cool Blue Chip Skills that let you customize how you play and unleash awesome Super abilities. On top of all that, they launched a new Event Pass and a streamer challenge with a $100,000 prize pool! I’m already hooked.
This update introduces more than just Xeno Point – it also includes the highly anticipated Stellar Blade crossover! Eve, the main character from Stellar Blade, is now a playable character in PUBG as the third Contender, and you can unlock her in the Workshop. She’s special because she’s the first “Ultimate Contender,” meaning her look changes as you level her up, letting you customize her appearance and hair color. The crossover doesn’t stop there – players can also collect unique kill effects, emotes, poses, a parachute, a backpack, and other items. Plus, the popular aespa collaboration is back with returning weapon skins, emotes, and frying pans, adding even more fun to this top battle royale game.
Similar to the last update for PUBG, version 41.1 includes gameplay enhancements and new additions. Destructible Terrain is now available on the Erangel map, and players can use new weapon attachments. The update also introduces the Emergency Support Flare and the Blue Chip Tower, along with important bug fixes.
