A brand new extraction shooter, PUBG: Black Budget, is launching soon, and the first chance to try it out will be in an upcoming closed alpha test.
After a lot of anticipation, PUBG: Black Budget has finally been announced! Players will get a chance to test the game during closed alpha sessions in December, but access will be limited to a select group.
This guide provides everything you need to know about joining the PUBG: Black Budget alpha test, including signup instructions and when you’ll be able to play.
When is The PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Test?
The first weekend of the closed alpha test for PUBG: Black Budget starts on Friday, December 12th at 1:00 AM Pacific Time. The test will run over two weekends in December.
The initial alpha test for PUBG: Black Budget finishes on Sunday, December 14th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. After that, the game servers will be offline for about a week before coming back online.
The next phase of closed alpha testing starts Friday, December 19th at 1:00 AM Pacific Time and will continue through Sunday, December 21st, ending at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
This initial test is available to players in North America, Europe, and Asia. We currently support English, Korean, Chinese, and Russian languages.
How to Sign Up to The PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Test
You can now apply to join the closed alpha test for PUBG: Black Budget, but sign-ups are only available through Steam.
When the closed alpha begins, we’ll give away more access keys through Twitch and Chzzk Drops. However, these keys will be limited in number and likely go fast, so be ready!
Although signing up for the closed beta doesn’t guarantee you’ll be accepted, here’s how to apply.
- Head to the PUBG: Black Budget page on Steam.
- Sign in to your Steam account.
- Select the ‘Request Access’ button on the page.
- Reconfirm you want to request access on the pop-up that appears.
- Wait to see if your application has been successful.
