QPAD, a brand unseen for more than ten years, has returned with a fresh lineup of products, featuring the Loop TKL Model 3 Keyboard and the Glass Superglide Mouse Mat.
PC gamers have so many options for accessories, it’s easy to forget about essential parts like keyboards and mouse pads when building a setup.
When building a PC, it’s easy to overlook a good keyboard and mouse mat with so many other things to consider – that’s what happened to me. But QPAD, especially with their Flux 65 Keyboard, has completely changed my perspective.
Change I Never Knew I Needed
I used to be mostly a console gamer, and for a long time, my computer was just a basic tool. When I finally built a gaming PC, I concentrated on things like the graphics card and monitor. I honestly didn’t even pay attention to what kind of keyboard I had!
I was happy with my old keyboard and didn’t plan on replacing it unless something went wrong. But after trying the QPAD Flux 65, I know I’ll never use anything else.
The biggest adjustment was the device’s smaller size. As a writer, I initially worried it would affect my typing, but any small issues quickly resolved themselves. Now, I actually have more room on my desk, which is a bonus!
The keyboard isn’t quiet, but it’s not overly noisy either, making it a significant improvement over previous versions.
I originally didn’t think I needed the Edge Mouse Mat – it felt like an extra purchase. I already use a Pokémon trading card playmat on my desk, mostly because I like how it looks. It sits under my keyboard, and before I got the Superglide Mouse Mat, my mouse was just used directly on the desk surface.
It’s no surprise my old desk is covered in scratches and marks, and I used to get annoyed when things didn’t line up properly. But that’s no longer an issue.
It’s quite expensive, currently costing £59.99 at Currys. While I’m not sure it’s worth that much money, it has definitely improved my setup.
Overall, these devices have really improved my computer setup, and I plan to continue using them every day. I’ve also realized how much of a difference good accessories can make.
